---> Past LGG Layouts
_____Version 7.5 || LOVEFEST. This layout was launched 4.24.06 and was inspired by the latest Goo release, Let Love In.
_____Version 7.0 || live in buffalo july 4th. The current layout was launched 5.29.05 and features the special homecoming performance of the Goos on July 4th, 2004. I stayed with the same overall design, just changing the graphics and moving the colors from a purple hue to more of a blue, since the cd / dvd combo pak features the blues as well. I really like this layout, too, but not sure if it'll stay around for almost a year like the last one did!
_____Version 6.5 || Band of Brothers. This layout was launched 6.19.04 and featured the special bond of brotherhood that Johnny and Robby share. I was just browsing thru the hundreds of Goo pix that I have and kept seeing all these pix with just the two of them. I had to honor that bond with a layout. Plus, it was time. The MIHP was getting old. I created the graphic using some common effects - cloning, gaussian blur, glow and several color adjustments. I also thought it was time to clean up the menu and get everything off the main page - a little image mapping on the menu, a couple new pages to house the subcategories and Voila!
_____Version 6.0 || Music In High Places. I made this layout right after I
got Power DVD - I was messing around making screencaps and thought I should go ahead and
use some of them in a new layout. The layout was launched 2.28.04 and featured very
little effects and no text - very simple and clean [kinda like the surroundings the
Goos had while filming MIHP].
_____Version 5.5 || Happy Goo Year. This layout was a celebration of
sorts. I created it after NYE in Las Vegas with the Goos. I liked the graphic okay,
but the layout was just boring. It didn't stay long. I used HeraldSquare for the
graphic; Verdana and Tahoma for the content. I also used picture tubes for the first
time. No other brushes or effects were used.
_____Version 5.0 || Snapshots. I loved this layout. It was also called
snapshots. I "created" the snapshots of the guys in the studio using images I found @
the official site and manipulating them in PSP7. I used StudioScriptICG for the
graphic and the same quote that I used in Version 4.5. I also used some shapes and
lines for this layout and Verdana and Tahoma for the content. No effects or brushes
were used.
_____Version 4.5 || Snapshots. Another layout with a picture collage. I
was feeling the reds again and the urge to recap the history of Goo again. I used
Stereofidelic and Pixel Ex on the graphic along with an insightful quote of Johnny's;
the usual Verdana and Tahoma for the layout. The title was beveled for the chromatic
look. No other effects or brushes were used.
_____Version 4.0 || 17 Years Of Goo. This version made its premiere
after the show I saw in August @ the Iowa State Fair. I was feeling kinda depressed
'cuz rumors were being tossed around about the band breaking up and they played a video
collage @ the show looking back @ their career. That collage inspired this layout.
I used Cretino for the graphic; Verdana and Tahoma [as usual] for the layout. No
effects or brushes were used.
_____Version 3.5 || Gutterflower. This version actually appeared in two
different forms. The first shown here - the second colorized to red. I used Bradley Hand ITC
in the graphic; Verdana and Tahoma for the layout. No effects or brushes were used.
_____Version 3.0 || Dizzy. For this version, I was in love with the
purples and the pinks. I used the image from the sleeve of Dizzy Up The Girl
and the lyrics from the song. I used QuigleyWiggly and Times fonts for the graphic.
The divider was created with the texture effects.
_____Version 2.5 || Stars 'N' Stripes. This is the second time I used
iframes for LGG and I like how it turned out. Of course, again with the blues. I took
the gutterflower child from the cd art and colorized it, drew in some stripes
with PSP7 and used brushes from Echoica. I used Scriptina and Tahoma fonts.
_____Version 2.0 || Blue. I promised one with iframes and was feeling the
love for blues when I made this, so out it came. The art in the top and side banners
are off the Gutterflower cover. I just manipulated them in PSP. I used Verdana, Tahoma
and Brochure fonts. Brushes from Echoica.
_____Version 1.5 || Pretty Things. I liked this layout a lot. It was my first
attempt at frames. I used color themes and art from the Gutterflower cover along
with several brushes.
_____Version 1.0 || Red. This was the original layout for Let's Get Gooey.
Only the menu was changed for a long time [I loved the image of Johnny and it fit
in the color scheme, so I had to use it]. I used Scriptina fonts [I think] and
several brushes and effects to make the graphics.
